The FBI has released new video footage and information in an ongoing investigation to identify the individual suspected of planting pipe bombs outside the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Republican National Committee (RNC) headquarters in Washington, D.C., on January 5, 2021, the evening before the Capitol riot. The suspect is estimated to be approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing Nike Air Max Speed Turf shoes with a yellow logo. The new video, released nearly four years after the incident, shows the suspect placing one of the explosive devices near the DNC headquarters. Despite hundreds of tips and interviews, the individual remains unidentified and at large. The FBI is seeking public assistance to help identify the suspect.
