VisitNBA Unveils Four-Team Mini-Tournament for 2025 All-Star Game in San Francisco with $1.8M Prize Pool

The NBA has announced a new format for the 2025 All-Star Game, transforming it into a one-night, four-team mini-tournament to be held on February 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The tournament will feature three games, with the first team to reach 40 points declared the winner of each game. The 24 NBA All-Stars will be divided into three teams of eight players, drafted by honorary general managers Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith. The fourth team will consist of the winners of the Rising Stars Challenge, led by GM Candace Parker. The NBA aims to increase competitiveness and entertainment value, with a total prize pool of $1.8 million, where players on the winning team will receive $125,000 each, second place $50,000, and third and fourth place $25,000 each.
