Jun 9, 2024, 08:25 PM
The NASCAR race at Sonoma has seen multiple incidents involving key drivers. Chase Briscoe, Joey Logano, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. were involved in a significant wreck. Briscoe, who entered the race 10 points below the cutline, had the rear of his car destroyed after being turned by Austin Cindric. Logano, who started as the pole sitter and entered 14 points below the cutline, sustained damage to the right side of his car and reported issues with his suspension. Logano's crew chief, Paul Wolfe, discussed whether to pit for further repairs or maintain track position. Stenhouse also spun into the grass in an attempt to avoid the crash. Harrison Burton was also involved in the incident. Both Briscoe and Logano are facing challenges in maintaining their positions due to the damage incurred.
