NASCAR has announced that the 2025 Busch Light Clash will be held at Bowman Gray Stadium, also known as the 'Madhouse', on February 2. This marks the return of the NASCAR Cup Series to the historic venue for the first time since a points-paying race in 1971, which was won by Hall of Famer Bobby Allison. The event, known as 'The Clash', will be televised by FOX and will take place on a quarter-mile track. Ben Kennedy, a NASCAR executive, made the announcement and mentioned that they are assessing the facility for any necessary safety changes while respecting its historical significance.
