VisitMysterious Drones Over NJ Prompt Emergency Calls, FBI Clueless
Dec 11, 2024, 02:30 AM
Mysterious drone sightings over New Jersey have prompted calls for a limited state of emergency from state Sen. Jon Bramnick. The drones, described as large and sophisticated, have been spotted flying over multiple counties in New Jersey, as well as parts of New York and Pennsylvania. The FBI has stated that they are unaware of who is operating these drones or if they pose a national security risk. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has described the drones as 'very sophisticated,' capable of going dark when spotted. Local leaders, however, have reassured the public that the drones do not currently pose a safety concern. The situation has led to speculation about the drones' origins, with some suggesting they could be from China or Russia, while others speculate they might be part of military testing or even an alien invasion. Reports indicate that up to 50 drones have been observed, with one instance of a Coast Guard boat being followed by drones. The Pentagon has green-lit a counter-drone strategy amid these 'urgent' threats, and the drones have been seen targeting military bases, including Trump's Bedminster golf course. Despite FBI investigations, the origins and intentions of these drones remain unknown.
