Mumbai Police, UP STF Arrest Baba Siddique's Shooter, Confesses to Bishnoi Gang Ties

The Mumbai Police, in a joint operation with the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF), arrested the main accused, Shiva Kumar, and two others in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddique. The arrests were made in Uttar Pradesh. Shiva Kumar confessed to being part of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which was behind the assassination. The police have also linked the gang to threats against Salman Khan and Pappu Yadav, as well as targeting a Pune leader after Baba Siddique's murder. The investigation revealed that the gang had a 'Plan B' in case the initial assassination attempt failed. The shooter was apprehended while trying to flee to Nepal. Additionally, 11 conspirators have been apprehended, and the police have concluded that this is a case of contract killings, with the Mumbai Crime Branch playing a significant role in the operation.
