    A tragic hit-and-run incident occurred in Mumbai's Worli area near Atria Mall on July 7 at 5:30 am, where a speeding BMW car rammed into a bike carrying a fisherman and his wife. The impact was so severe that the 45-year-old woman, identified as Kaveri Nakhwa, was dragged for 100 meters on the car's bonnet, leading to her death. Her husband sustained injuries. The car, allegedly driven by Mihir Shah, the son of Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah from Palghar, fled the scene. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured that strict legal action would be taken against the perpetrator. The police are actively investigating the case and searching for the accused.
