Multiple Explosions, Fire Reported at Iranian Ministry of Defense in Tehran

Reports indicate that multiple explosions occurred at a building belonging to the Iranian Ministry of Defense on Rashid Street in Tehran. The explosions were followed by a massive fire. Tehran fire officials stated that the fire broke out in a 'pool equipment warehouse' where barrels of chlorine were stored. Additional explosions, including reports of 5-7 and 19 explosions, were reported west of Tehran, near Imam Khomeini International Airport, and in the city of Karaj.
