Muhammad Azzam, Doctor at Soroka Medical Center, Arrested for Alleged ISIS Ties and Terror Plot

Israeli authorities have arrested Muhammad Azzam, a 34-year-old Arab-Israeli doctor working at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, on charges of terrorism. Azzam, who reportedly swore allegiance to ISIS, is accused of plotting to poison patients at the hospital. He allegedly leaked information about injured soldiers from Gaza being treated at the facility. The arrest was made in July following a joint operation by the Shin Bet security agency and Israeli Police.
