YouTube star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has announced his intention to submit an official offer to acquire TikTok, a platform valued at approximately €50 billion. He is reportedly on a private jet heading to TikTok's headquarters to finalize the bid. MrBeast is part of a group of American investors led by tech founder Jesse Tinsley, which has submitted an all-cash bid for TikTok's U.S. operations. The group is also receiving legal advice from Brad Bondi, brother of a nominee for the U.S. Attorney General position. This move comes amid increasing pressure for TikTok to secure an American buyer to avoid a potential ban, as imposed by the current U.S. administration. MrBeast expressed his excitement about the possibility of becoming TikTok's CEO, stating, "I might become your guys’ new CEO; I’m super excited."
