Mpox Virus Detected in Pakistan Among UAE Arrivals

The mpox virus has been detected in three patients in Pakistan, according to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department. The patients, who traveled from the United Arab Emirates, tested positive for the virus upon arrival at Peshawar Airport. They have been quarantined as a precautionary measure. This detection follows the World Health Organization's recent declaration of the outbreak as a public health concern.
