MİT Leads Operation Arresting 5 for Cyber Espionage Using 'Avatar' Software Targeting Lawyers' Data

Turkish authorities have arrested five individuals in a cybersecurity operation led by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), alongside the Gendarmerie General Command and the National Cyber Incident Response Center. The arrests were made in relation to the illegal access and theft of personal data from attorneys using specially developed software named 'Avatar' or 'Justice'. The operation aims to enhance national cybersecurity and protect strategic data. The suspects have been charged with cyber espionage and are currently in custody.
