Missouri voters have narrowly approved Amendment 2, which allows for statewide digital sports betting. With 3,243 of 3,572 precincts reporting, the measure led with 50.7% of the vote compared to 49.3% against. This decision makes Missouri the 39th state in the U.S. to legalize sports betting, contributing to a total of 68% of the U.S. population now living in states where such betting is permitted. The implementation of the new sports betting framework is anticipated to coincide with the start of the upcoming football season.
