VisitMissile Strikes Hit Bryansk Chemical Plant; Ukraine Allegedly Uses ATACMS with Cluster Warheads
Jan 13, 2025, 06:48 PM
Reports have emerged of missile strikes targeting the Bryansk region in Russia, with multiple explosions heard in the city of Bryansk. Several sources indicate that Ukrainian forces have launched missiles, possibly including U.S.-supplied ATACMS with cluster warheads and British Storm Shadow missiles. The attacks allegedly targeted military facilities, including the Bryansk Chemical Plant named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR, which is involved in the production of industrial explosives and ammunition, including aircraft bombs. Footage from the scene shows at least 14 explosions. There are also reports of smoke coming from the Bryansk Kremniy El enterprise, a major supplier of military microelectronics. Air raid alarms have been activated across the region, and air defense systems were reportedly engaged. The governor of Bryansk stated that Russian air defenses intercepted all incoming missiles, and there were no casualties.
