VisitMinnesota Vikings Rookie Khyree Jackson, 24, Dies in Maryland Car Accident

Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson, 24, was tragically killed in a car accident early Saturday morning in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Jackson, a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Oregon, was one of three people who died in the accident. The crash also claimed the lives of his former high school teammates, Anthony Lytton Jr. and Isaiah Hazel. According to Maryland State Police, the car Jackson was in was struck by another vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, with alcohol possibly being a factor. The Vikings organization, including owners Mark and Zygi Wilf and coach Kevin O'Connell, expressed their deep sorrow and extended their condolences to Jackson's family, friends, and teammates.
