VisitMike Evans' 105th TD Ties Fifth-Most Seasons with 10+ Touchdowns
Dec 29, 2024, 06:11 PM
Mike Evans caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from Baker Mayfield on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' opening drive against the Carolina Panthers, giving the Bucs an early 7-0 lead. The touchdown, Evans' 10th of the season and 105th of his career, marks his sixth season with double-digit touchdowns, tying him for the fifth-most such seasons in NFL history. This achievement places him alongside Davante Adams and Cris Carter, trailing only Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Marvin Harrison. The 70-yard drive featured a mix of runs and passes, including a 31-yard reception by tight end Payne Durham. Evans also surpassed Hall of Famer Steve Largent for the 36th-most receptions in NFL history with 819.
