Microsoft has announced a significant investment of $1.7 billion over the next four years to enhance cloud computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure in Indonesia. This investment, described as the largest in the company's nearly three-decade presence in Indonesia, aims to develop the country's digital capabilities and support its growth in these sectors. As part of this initiative, Microsoft plans to build data centers and train approximately 840,000 Indonesians in AI skills. The investment was confirmed by Microsoft's CEO, Satya Nadella, during a visit to the country.
