The investment aims to support the development of digital and AI skills across the country, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. The initiative includes the AI National Skills program, which seeks to train five million people in AI and digital competencies. This move is part of Microsoft's broader strategy to democratize access to advanced technologies and foster innovation in collaboration with governments, industry, academia, and civil society. The announcement was made by Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella during his visit to Mexico City.
