VisitMicrosoft Settles CISPE Antitrust Complaint with Cloud Licensing Deal

Microsoft has reached a deal with CISPE to settle an antitrust complaint regarding its cloud computing licensing practices. As part of the agreement, Microsoft will allow CISPE members to run Microsoft software on their platforms using Microsoft's cloud infrastructure at prices equivalent to Microsoft's own. Additionally, Microsoft will offer a multi-million euro payout to CISPE members to compensate for license costs incurred over the past two years.
