VisitMicrosoft Introduces AI-Driven Auto SR, a DLSS Competitor, for Enhanced Gaming on Copilot Plus PCs
Jun 7, 2024, 10:06 AM
Microsoft is introducing a new AI-driven feature called Automatic Super Resolution (Auto SR) that aims to enhance gaming performance on its upcoming Copilot Plus PCs. This feature, which is integrated into the operating system, uses AI to deliver smoother framerates and detailed visuals, improving the gaming experience without the need for high-end GPUs. Auto SR is set to compete with existing technologies like NVIDIA's DLSS. While initially available on Copilot Plus PCs with Snapdragon X Series processors, it will not be exclusive to Qualcomm, as Intel's Lunar Lake and AMD's systems will also support these Windows AI features. The feature is expected to launch later this month.
