Microsoft Faces Two EU Privacy Complaints Over 365 Education Suite

Microsoft is facing privacy complaints in the European Union over its education-focused cloud productivity suite, Microsoft 365 Education. The complaints were filed by the privacy advocacy group NOYB to the Austrian privacy watchdog. The group alleges that Microsoft shifts its responsibility as a data controller required to process users' personal data under EU privacy rules. This marks the latest grievances levelled against the US tech giant, with two complaints filed.
