Michael Cohen Testifies in Trump’s New York Hush Money Trial

Cohen testified that Trump approved the classification of reimbursement for a hush money payment to Stormy Daniels’s lawyer as a legal retainer. He also submitted 11 invoices to the Trump Organization for reimbursement, which he said were false records. Despite receiving $35,000 checks each month from Trump, Cohen said he did minimal work for him in 2017. Cohen is expected to face tough cross-examination regarding his credibility.
