VisitMeta Strikes First Multi-Year AI Deal With Reuters for Real-Time News
Oct 25, 2024, 01:21 PM
Meta has entered into a multi-year agreement with Reuters to utilize its news content for real-time answers to user queries in Meta's AI chatbot. This marks Meta's first news deal in the AI era, allowing users in the U.S. to access real-time news and information from Reuters when they ask questions about news or current events. Reuters, which has previously served as a fact-checking partner for Meta, will now provide content directly to enhance the AI chatbot's capabilities. Notably, Reuters has never had a news tab deal with Meta before.
