Meta's social media platform Threads has surpassed Elon Musk's X in daily active users in the US, with Threads reporting an estimated 28 million daily users compared to X's 22 million. Additionally, Threads has seen significant growth in monthly users, reaching 150 million, a substantial increase from nearly 100 million in October. This growth was highlighted during Meta's recent earnings call, where CEO Mark Zuckerberg also noted that Threads' monthly user base had previously reached 130 million in February. Overall, Meta's family of apps now encompasses 3.24 billion daily active people, representing 40% of the global population.
