Ryan Selkis, the CEO and co-founder of Messari, has stepped down following a series of controversial and angry tweets against Trump opponents. Selkis' tweets, which were posted in the aftermath of an attempted assassination of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, included inflammatory remarks about politics, civil war, and calls for immigrants to be expelled from the country. In response to the backlash, Selkis announced his resignation, and Eric Turner, the company's chief revenue officer, will serve as interim CEO.
