Sep 20, 2024, 11:29 AM
Max Verstappen has been summoned by the FIA stewards for using foul language during the Thursday driver press conference ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix. The incident involved Verstappen swearing, specifically stating that 'the car was f***ed' during the conference in Baku. As a result, the FIA has ordered Verstappen to accomplish some work of public interest as a penalty. Verstappen, who drives for Red Bull, explained that the word used is ordinary in his speech as he learned it, English not being his native language, and he has since apologized for the incident.
