VisitMattel and Universal Team with Akiva Goldsman for Live-Action 'Monster High' Movie

Mattel has announced a new live-action theatrical feature film based on their popular Monster High doll line. The project will be developed in partnership with Universal Pictures and Akiva Goldsman, an Oscar-winning producer and screenwriter. This follows the success of the Barbie movie, which earned over $1 billion and became the highest-grossing movie of 2023. The Monster High film will be written and produced by Goldsman and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film is currently in pre-production.
