A mass grave containing the remains of prisoners, whose bodies were dissolved in acid, has been discovered in Sednaya Prison, located about 30 kilometers north of Damascus, Syria. The Assad regime forces are accused of these atrocities, with reports indicating that the victims were subjected to brutal torture before their deaths. The number of bodies found ranges from 15 to between 40 and 50, according to various sources including the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Sednaya Prison is notorious for its use as a torture center, often referred to as a 'human slaughterhouse.'
