A masked man attempted to abduct a young Hasidic Jewish child walking with his visibly Jewish father to synagogue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, on Saturday afternoon around 3:30 PM. Security footage captured the incident on Kingston Avenue near Lefferts Avenue, showing the assailant aggressively grabbing the child before the father prevented the abduction. The New York City Police Department's 71st Precinct is investigating the incident, and according to reports, they have identified the perpetrator, who was later arrested.
