Manhattan prosecutors have charged Luigi Nicholas Mangione, a 26-year-old from Towson, Maryland, with murder and additional felonies in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City. Mangione, a graduate of the Gilman School in Baltimore County, was arrested after being recognized by a McDonald's employee in Pennsylvania, who alerted authorities. The killing occurred last week outside a Manhattan hotel, and court documents filed late Monday show that Mangione faces first-degree murder and other felony charges in connection with the incident.
