O'Malley is resigning from his current position at the Social Security Administration to focus on his campaign. He has reportedly connected with several Democratic leaders, including members of Maryland's DNC delegation, Senator Tim Kaine, Minyon Moore, Jim Roosevelt, former Governor Steve Bullock, Iowa chair Rita Hart, and former Governor Steve Beshear.
