Marlins Hire Dodgers' First Base Coach Clayton McCullough as Manager

The Miami Marlins have appointed Clayton McCullough as their new manager, succeeding Skip Schumaker. McCullough, previously the first base coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers under manager Dave Roberts, has spent the last four seasons in that role. The hiring was confirmed by multiple sources, including ESPN's Alden Gonzalez. McCullough had two in-person meetings with Marlins owner Bruce Sherman and others at loandepot Park. He becomes the 19th manager in Marlins team history.
