Jun 7, 2024, 04:52 PM
Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Trump campaign aide Mike Roman have pleaded not guilty on Friday to nine felony charges in Maricopa County Superior Court. The charges are related to their alleged involvement in a scheme to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Arizona through the use of fake electors. Both individuals appeared virtually for their arraignment. Meadows' attorney confirmed that he has already completed booking procedures. The scheme was aimed at reversing Donald Trump’s Arizona election loss to Joe Biden.
