VisitMan Rescued After Falling Down 40-Foot, One-Foot-Wide Ventilation Pipe in Portland

Early Friday morning in Portland, Oregon, first responders rescued a man who had fallen down a 40-foot, one-foot-wide ventilation pipe near a parking garage. The man was found at the bottom of the pipe and had been stuck there for hours. According to reports, the man told authorities that he woke up stuck in the pipe and couldn't recall how he got there. Crews from Portland Fire & Rescue conducted the rescue operation.
