A man in Malibu, California, allegedly fired at Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies with a suppressed rifle before barricading himself inside a home on Carbon Mesa Road. The incident began around 1:50 p.m. on Friday when deputies responded to reports of gunfire. The suspect, who may have sniper training, led to considerations of evacuating nearby homes. After a standoff lasting nearly two hours, the SWAT team arrested the suspect without any injuries reported.
