VisitMalaysia Accepts Ocean Infinity's "No Find, No Fee" Proposal to Resume Search for Missing Flight MH370
Dec 20, 2024, 08:53 AM
Malaysia has agreed in principle to resume the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, more than 10 years after it disappeared in one of the world's greatest aviation mysteries. The Boeing 777 vanished in March 2014 with 239 passengers and crew on board during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Malaysia's Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook announced on Friday that the government accepted a proposal from US-based exploration firm Ocean Infinity to search a new 15,000 square kilometer area in the southern Indian Ocean on a "no find, no fee" basis, based on new information provided by the company.
