Major music labels, including Universal, Warner, and Sony, have filed a lawsuit against AI music generation companies Suno and Udio. The lawsuit, which is considered a landmark case, alleges that these companies trained their AI technologies on thousands of unlicensed songs from some of the world's biggest artists without permission. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is also involved in the legal action for copyright infringement.
