The deal includes $170 million guaranteed and secures Goff's position with the team through at least 2027, with an option for 2028. This season, the Lions have committed over $444 million in extensions to three players, including Goff, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, and offensive tackle Penei Sewell. Goff's contract makes him the second-highest paid quarterback in the NFL on a per-year basis, earning $53 million annually.
