Linda Nolan, a member of the pop group The Nolans, has died at the age of 65 following a 20-year battle with cancer. Nolan, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, saw the disease return as secondary cancer in 2017, eventually spreading to her brain by 2023. She passed away peacefully at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, surrounded by her siblings. Nolan's career with The Nolans saw the group become the first Irish act to sell over a million records worldwide, eventually selling 30 million records. Beyond her music career, she was recognized for her work as a television personality, West End star, author, and columnist, and for raising over £20 million for various charities including Breast Cancer Now, the Irish Cancer Society, and Samaritans.
