VisitLil Durk Faces Life in Prison; Charged in Murder-for-Hire of Rival's Cousin Saviay’a Robinson
Nov 8, 2024, 07:20 PM
Grammy Award-winning Chicago rapper Lil Durk, 32, has been charged with additional federal felony charges in a murder-for-hire case connected to the killing of rival rapper Quando Rondo's cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lul Pab, in August 2022 near the Beverly Center shopping mall in Los Angeles. The new charges include one count of conspiracy, one count of use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and one count of using, carrying, and discharging firearms and a machine gun, and possession of such firearms in furtherance of a crime of violence. Prosecutors allege that Lil Durk used coded language in his song lyrics to orchestrate the plot targeting the rival rapper. If convicted, he faces life in federal prison.
