VisitLightricks' LTX-Video: Open-Source AI Generates 24fps Video in 4 Seconds on Nvidia H100
Nov 22, 2024, 03:06 PM
Lightricks has introduced LTX-Video, a groundbreaking open-source AI video generation model that can produce high-quality videos faster than real-time viewing. This model, developed by Lightricks in collaboration with teams from Alibaba and the University of Hong Kong, generates 5 seconds of 24fps video at a resolution of 768x512 in just 4 seconds on an Nvidia H100 GPU. LTX-Video is designed to be scalable, capable of producing consistent quality long videos, and is based on a 2-billion-parameter DiT model. The open-source nature of the model allows for community-driven development and is supported by platforms like ComfyUI, enabling users to run it on local GPUs. This innovation marks a significant advancement in AI video generation technology, offering real-time, frame-level control and the potential for widespread application in video content creation.
