VisitLewandowski Becomes Third Player to Reach 100 Champions League Goals with Penalty Against Brest
Nov 26, 2024, 08:12 PM
Robert Lewandowski scored his 100th goal in the UEFA Champions League, becoming only the third player in history to reach this milestone after Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 140 goals, and Lionel Messi, who has 129. The 36-year-old Polish striker achieved this feat in 125 matches, converting a penalty in the 10th minute to give Barcelona a 1-0 lead over Brest in their Champions League match. The penalty was awarded after Brest's goalkeeper Marco Bizot collided with Lewandowski in the box.
