Leicester City Football Club has sacked manager Steve Cooper after just 12 games into the Premier League season, following a run of poor form that left the team positioned just two points above the relegation zone. Cooper's dismissal comes after a 2-1 loss to Chelsea, marking a winless streak of five games. The decision was influenced by the manner of recent performances rather than the points accumulated, with some players reportedly unconvinced by Cooper's methods and feeling that training sessions were too lengthy. Cooper had been in charge for five months before his departure. Alan Tate and Steve Rands have also left the club, with Ben Dawson, Danny Alcock, and Andy Hughes set to oversee first-team training in the interim.
