VisitAt Least Six Dead, Four Injured in Chamunda Gunpowder Company Blast in Hingana Taluka

At least six people were killed and four others were seriously injured in a blast at an explosives manufacturing factory in Dhamna, Hingana taluka, near Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Thursday afternoon. The explosion occurred at Chamunda Gunpowder Company around 1 pm while workers were packing explosives. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Nagpur for treatment. Police Commissioner Ravinder Singhal confirmed the fatalities, including four women, and stated that the investigation is ongoing. NCP-SCP leader Anil Deshmukh and other senior officials are present at the site. Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis expressed his condolences and mentioned that three critically injured individuals are being treated at Dande Hospital.
