VisitLazarus Group Launders $35 Million from $305 Million DMM Bitcoin Heist

Hackers behind the $305 million heist from DMM Bitcoin in May have laundered over $35 million this month through an online marketplace in Cambodia. North Korean hackers sent stolen crypto to a wallet used by an Asian payment firm, with a major Cambodian payments firm receiving over $150,000 from a digital wallet used by the North Korean hacking outfit Lazarus Group. The Lazarus Group has been tied to the $305 million crypto breach of Japan’s DMM exchange. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT reported the laundering activities.
