VisitLas Vegas Raiders Fire Head Coach Antonio Pierce After One Season
Jan 7, 2025, 08:39 PM
Antonio Pierce has been fired as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders after completing his first full season with a 4-13 record. This decision comes following a meeting with team owner Mark Davis. The Raiders had a preseason win total set at over/under 6.5 games but fell short of expectations. The team has now had seven head coaches in the past ten years, including Jon Gruden, who resigned in 2021, and Josh McDaniels, who was fired in 2023. Reports indicate that Davis is willing to spend top dollar on the best available coach to lead the team forward.
