VisitLancaster County, PA DA Heather Adams Uncovers Suspected Voter Registration Fraud Involving 2,500 Applications
Oct 25, 2024, 04:57 PM
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, has uncovered and halted a suspected voter registration fraud operation involving approximately 2,500 applications. The fraudulent applications were submitted in two batches shortly before the voter registration deadline. Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams announced an investigation into the matter, revealing that many of the applications appeared to have the same handwriting. The discovery was made by the Board of Elections during routine reviews. Christa Miller, the Chief Clerk of Elections, reported the issue. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the fraud, with initial findings indicating that 60% of the reviewed applications were fraudulent. There are also concerns about potential involvement of other counties and the role of Democrats in the scheme.
