VisitKremlin Vows to Shoot Down Ukraine’s First Batch of F-16 Jets

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated in March that F-16 fighters used from third-country airfields would become legitimate targets. Recently, Kremlin spokesmen reiterated that F-16 fighter jets delivered to Ukraine will be shot down and will not influence the battlefield. Rewards have been offered for shooting down these jets. The Kremlin emphasized that these aircraft will not be a panacea for Ukraine’s military efforts, including the first batch of F-16 jets.
