VisitKenyan Government Ordered to Pay Ksh.497.9 Million to 2015 Garissa University Attack Victims

The Kenyan government has been ordered to compensate the victims of the 2015 Garissa University attack. The court ruled that the state must pay Ksh.497.9 million to the victims, including Sh441 million to the families of the 147 deceased individuals and Sh56.9 million to 14 survivors who filed the petition. Each family of the 148 victims will receive Sh3 million. Additionally, a Garissa University attack survivor has been awarded Ksh.10 million in compensation.
