VisitKamala Harris's Campaign Aides Admit Internal Polling Never Showed Her Ahead of Trump; FEC Issues and $20M Debt
Nov 26, 2024, 10:24 PM
Kamala Harris's presidential campaign aides have revealed that internal polling never showed her leading Donald Trump. Despite public optimism, senior adviser David Plouffe admitted the campaign was hopeful but not overly optimistic, stating, 'We were hopeful. I don’t know how optimistic we were, but we thought, OK, this is tied, and if a couple things break our way [we could win].' This admission comes amidst reports of potential legal issues with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and a campaign debt of $20 million. In his defeat of Kamala Harris, Donald Trump won a bigger percentage of the vote in each one of the 50 states, and Washington, D.C., than he did four years ago.
